令我很訝異的是這家老酒廠的總釀酒師竟是華人, 相信成就這樣的名聲必定是來自不知多少的辛苦血汗換來的.

Sight: Dark Ruby red with middle size width tears.
Nose: Licorice, plum, litchi and blackberry aromas.
Taste: Smoky, caramel flavors with tense tanny. Dry. Lingering. A nice full-bodied cab to be in the dinner table wine. Decant needed.
好一陣子沒有 聊到紅酒, 今天就來談談加州 Central Coast 的 Delicato Family Vineyard 的酒款, 而會買這一瓶酒主要是因為有2瓶 for 8塊的特價, 所以在考量之下就買了這酒廠的2004年 Cabernet 和 Merlot, 而 Merlot 才是主要想喝的酒款, 但沒想到這 Cabernet 表現也是不凡, 所以絕不小看任何一款酒的實力. 讓我們就來細細地賞析這瓶酒:
深 深地紅寶石紅, 帶著不細也不粗的酒柱淚痕, 酒杯在手中輕輕地搖晃之後, 是清晰的荔枝風味傳入嗅覺中, 然後才是甘油, 李子與黑莓果的香味相互交替地漫佈在空氣之中, 緊接著淺嚐一口杯中的酒液, 咀嚼其中滋味, 可以些微地嚐出煙燻味, 並加上焦糖與荔枝的香味, 此外單寧成分充足, 夠澀度及不錯的餘韻, 使得這款酒成為貨真價實的重度酒體卡本內.蘇維濃. 值得一喝再喝.
