在這款酒的瓶身描述著Casillero del Diablo 名稱的起源, 可以回朔到1891年, (Diablo 在西班牙文裡代表著邪惡的暗黑破壞神或是魔鬼之王的代名詞), 由於 Concha y Toro 酒莊莊主不斷的發現自己的酒窖藏酒被偷走, 為了嚇阻宵小的偷竊行徑, 他決定將自己的酒莊命名為Casillero del Diablo 又或是惡魔的酒窖 Devil’s Cellar, 並散播謠言說:”有魔鬼住在他的酒莊裡.” 如今在國際市場行銷通路下, 這款酒在2002年之後, 銷售已遍佈100多個國家, 而年產量更高達1,000,000箱. 請參閱它的官方網站, 裡面有著頗為令人驚悚的佈景, 蠻有趣的.

"Bright and dark red. Ripe cherries, blackcurrant, dark plums and a touch of vanilla and toasted American oak. Medium bodied with smooth and friendly tannins." - Winemaker

Personal Comment:
Sight: Crimson with bright surface.
Nose: Licorice, herbal, and blackberry aromas.
Taste: Medium body. After tasting, dark plums and toasty flavours come out. A young wine with many tannics when lingering. Not really friendly as official comment described.
飲後第一感覺便是單寧強烈而粗曠, 在細細地聞的過程裡, 有著明顯的青草香, 甘油, 與黑莓果的味道, 入口後更有烏梅味留連在口腔中, 這款酒跟他的次一級的酒款相比較下, 似乎顯得有些較為扎口不易飲, 需要多一點 decant 的時間. WS 通常會給這個酒款85分上下的分數, 但今年還未評過, 請屏息以待. 我有一次在 Costco 聽到墨西哥人說著 "Casillero del Diablo" 的語音, 聽起來真的蠻有韻味的. 讓我也來說一遍吧! 暗黑壞神Diablo 來了!!(別害怕, 把它喝了再說)
