Background Story:
( 摘自愛戀葡萄酒 ) 康佳能 Concannon 酒廠由愛爾蘭移民 James Concannon 創立於1883 年，在舊金山灣的 Livermore Valley 擁有220 英畝的葡萄園，其特色為擁有豐富而怡人果味及口感，因其精湛的釀酒調配技術， 使康佳農酒廠獲得 《 Wine & Spirits 》 雜誌所評選之 「1995年度最佳酒廠」 的殊榮，及 「1996年全美排名第十得獎最多的酒廠」 (38項產品共穫得170個獎牌)。釀酒師 Tom Lane 以 「非傳統」 的釀酒方式聞名於業界，並於1995年及1996年獲得釀酒師的最高榮譽 「年度最佳釀酒師」，並且在2003年被挖角到 Livermore Valley 的另一家知名酒廠Stony Ridge。

Our Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied, rich and fruitful. A complex Cabernet with black cherry and vanilla-oak flavors and a rich, smooth finish. Enjoy with a filet mignon or your favorite red meat dish.

Personal Commnet:
Sight: Bright ruby red with delightful shinning.
Nose: Light oaky. An obvious vanilla and berry aromas. Also show the flavor of citrus. Before first attemp ends, the vanilla flavor gets stronger.
Taste: Toasty and bold taste with heavy tannins. The dry lasts slightly longer in the mouth. A full-body dry wine. Just try it once. Second day's try out. In fact, the tannin gets softer and easy to drink.
這款酒在最近的每一次進入winelover的網站都大致上看得到, 因此前幾天就去買了2003年份來嚐試, 由於期待有點的高, 所以在失望的時候, 也跌的更深, 香氣確實很濃郁, 可以很清楚的聞到香草與莓果的味道, 但在口感上單寧似乎有點強烈, 使整個酒呈現澀味, 或許這2003年份需要更多的時間去 Decant 它, 希望過一些時日後, 口感會更加的圓潤, 這款重酒體的卡本內.蘇維濃, 下次再試試看吧!!
後記: 兩天之間, 不斷地去品嚐這瓶酒, 可以清楚的感到, 酒液在口裡越來越綿密而漸不扎口, 看來此酒款還太年輕地去飲用, 在給他多一些時間去長大吧!!
