Background Story:

Official Comment:
"Produced from grapes picked in the Rheinhessen region of Germany under careful scrutiny of our own winemaker who employs modern techniques as laid down by the Sichel Superior Vinification production methods. A refreshingly crisp wine, rich in ripe peach fruit flavors, full-bodied with a lingering aromatic finish. An ideal accompaniment with Ceasar Salads, Chicken, Seafood, particularly Sushi, both Thai and Chinese cuisine." - Winemaker

Other Comment:
"An easy-to-drink, refreshing white wine that may be consumed on its own or matched with seafood, white meats and spicy dishes, Blue Nun's colour is of pale straw. Its nose is quite subdued and gently floral. Refreshing grape and green apple flavours with hints of nectarines define its taste profile, with sufficient acidity providing well balanced structure. It is refreshing and crisp with a soft yet persistent finish."

Personal Comment:
Sight: Golden yellow with few tiny bubbles.
Nose: Apple, citrus and flowery aromas.
Taste: Nice acidity. Light toasty flavor. Sweetness is between light and medium. Low alcohol. Considered as entrance level for the Riesling tasting.
